International Space Station holed by meteorite
MOSCOW: A mini-meteorite has left a bullet- sized hole in a module of the International Space Station (ISS), but the three-person US-Russian team of astronauts inside are not in danger, a Russian official said.
The puncture, in an outer pumping component on the module, was detected in the Russia "Zaria" module of the station during a spacewalk by the two Russian cosmonauts on board, the spokesman for the Russian space agency, Vladimir Solovyev, said on Wednesday.
It was the first time a meteorite hole had been found on a module of the ISS. Several holes have been observed on the big solar panels that spread out from the orbiter.

Will you braindead hoax goons ever just FUCK OFF?
You want ultimate proof about the apollo missions? I give you: THE RUSSIANS.
THE RUSSIANS would have absolutely LOVED to catch America in the act of something like faking the moon missions. But there was never a squeak about any kind of fakery out of them. You know why?

Russian high gain radio antennae picked up the astronauts transmissions, which were quite obviously coming from THE MOON and nowhere else.
The Russians, and anyone else with the right equipment, did then and have since until this day, bounced lasers off the laser ranging experiment left there by the astronauts - it's undeniably there, otherwise you couldn't even do this.
Seriously, you hoaxers are like a plague.

a quasar CFHQS J2329-0301

Most distant black hole discovered - Space.com - MSNBC.com
"The most distant black hole ever found is nearly 13 billion light-years from Earth, astronomers announced today.
The Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope spotted the bright burst of light the black hole created as it sucked up nearby gas, heating it and causing it to glow very brightly in what's known as a quasar."
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19094136/

June 7, 2007
The object, called a quasar and given the catchy name CFHQS J2329-0301, was found with three other extremely distant quasars in the Canada-France High-z Quasar Survey, which uses an imaging instrument called the MegaCam on the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT).
"This is indeed the most distant," said Christian Veillet, director of the CFHT. But he wouldn't be surprised, he said, if something even more remote turns up soon. "They are really in the middle of the survey, so there are more to come."

New quasar is the oldest yet - space - 07 June 2007 - New Scientist Space
"A new survey with the 3.5-meter Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope can spot much fainter quasars than the Sloan survey, which used a smaller, less sensitive telescope, says Willott. That's important because smaller quasars are more common.
He told the Canadian Astronomical Society meeting in Kingston, Ontario, that the survey had found four quasars beyond a red-shift of 6, including one, given the memorable title CFHQS J2329-0301, at a record red-shift of 6.43. That means we're seeing it just 870 million years after the big bang.
The new black hole weighs in at 500 million solar masses. "Theoretically, it's very hard to create such a big black hole so early in the universe," Willott told New Scientist."

Abstract: The Canada-France High-z Quasar Survey (CFHQS) is an optical survey designed to locate quasars during the epoch of reionization. In this paper we present the discovery of the first four CFHQS quasars at redshift greater than 6, including the most distant known quasar, CFHQS J2329-0301 at z=6.43.

Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and Flight Engineer Oleg Kotov began their mission’s second spacewalk today at 10:23 a.m. EDT. Tasks include routing and mating an ethernet cable on Zarya, installing 12 more debris shields on Zvezda and installing a science experiment on the Pirs docking compartment.

McDonald Obs: Hobby-Eberly Telescope Helps Learn Secrets of Very Distant Quasar | SpaceRef
"Follow-up observations of this specific quasar (with the somewhat difficult moniker "CFHQS 1641+3755") were first made in the infrared with the 2.7-meter Harlan J. Smith Telescope at McDonald Observatory to indicate that it is probably a quasar, and not a brown dwarf (both objects are point-like and red in color in photos)."

They are wearing Russian Orlan spacesuits.

国際宇宙ステーションに隕石衝突、小さな穴開ける AFPBB News

Will you braindead hoax goons ever just FUCK OFF?
You want ultimate proof about the apollo missions? I give you: THE RUSSIANS.
THE RUSSIANS would have absolutely LOVED to catch America in the act of something like faking the moon missions. But there was never a squeak about any kind of fakery out of them. You know why?
Russian telescopes tracked the CSM and LEM onroute to the moon.
Russian telescopes saw the CSM orbiting the moon while the LEM was on the surface... (continued below)

He told the Canadian Astronomical Society meeting in Kingston, Ontario, t
