2003年の神舟5号、05年の同6号、今回の7号と、中国の有人宇宙船はいずれもこの一帯を着陸地点に選んだ。
「親父にも見せたかった。せっかくウチに降りてきたというのになあ」と、モンケスフさんは、ちょっと涙ぐむ。
5号は少々遠い地点に降りたので、見ることができなかった。
05年の6号は比較的近かったが、父親は直前に転倒して骨折したので、見に行くことができなかった。「神舟7号が降りてきた時には、背負って連れて行ってくれ」とモンケスフさんに言っていたという。しかし2年前に他界して、とうとう見ることはできなかった。"
