MOSCOW, December 18. /FIS/ RSC Energia developed six projects of the new manned shuttle, two of which will be submitted for review by Roscosmos, reports RIA Novosti referring to a high-rank source in the rocket and space industry. The developed shuttle transport space system may replace the currently operated Soyuz systems and be used for flights to the Moon and Mars. The new spaceship is able to take six people at once, the inner cabin size will be five times larger than that of Soyuz and mach more comfortable. The new space shuttle can also be used for tourist applications. The project includes several innovations such as an inter-orbital space tow-boat and a freight container capable of taking12 tons of cargoes to the ISS instead of current 2 tons.

プロトンは こんな具合
The Proton-M launch catastrophe in September (with a valuable Japanese satellite on board) put the brakes on any further activity until a thorough review of the circumstances was carried out. Since then a pair of flawless launches have taken place using the same core rocket infrastructure.
In truth Proton, which works with International Launch Services, has an enviable launch record. The recent Japanese loss was the fourth problem in a series of 42 flights with ILS going back to 1996, but the 327th flight for the Proton system, which is very much the workhorse of the International Space Station mission. – December 18 2007 - (c) Rapid TV News 2007
